In the 2020 off-road racing season the Vertex Pistons again conquered the top of the motocross and enduro world championships, as well as continued
to confirm for the umpteenth consecutive year the supremacy in supermoto and karting, demonstrating how much its pistons provide fundamental support to the vehicles for the final victory.

The close collaboration with the best teams and world riders of the various disciplines allows Vertex Pistons to improve from year to year, always guaranteeing the highest technological level updated to new motorcycle models.

Thus, for 2021, the range of hi-tech pistons dedicated to 4-stroke off-road vehicles has been further expanded with the new models for
Beta dedicated to enduro in the RR 350/390/430/480 versions
and for the entire KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas line,
as well as maintaining the pistons for Honda CRF 250/450, Kawasaki
KX 250/450 F, Yamaha YZ 250/450 F and Suzuki RM-Z 250/450.

These Vertex pistons, all characterized by a molybdenum disulfide coating to enhance smoothness and wear resistance, are available in 4 versions:

Replica, High Compression, Big Bore and GP-Racer’s Choice.

The Replica model, made with forged aluminum body, OE profile, MoS2 anti-seize coating and original ring kit, perfectly replaces the standard piston and has an excellent quality / price ratio.

The High Compression is produced with a specific dedicated forging and has the shape of the head completely revised by the engineers of the Research & Development department with an increase in the compression ratio that improves power and torque.

The Big Bore version, on the other hand, has a similar conformation to the standard one, but has an increased diameter with a relative increase in displacement which involves an important improvement in performance.

Finally there is the GP-Racer's Choice model, which is the top of the range of Vertex Pistons 4-stroke off-road production, as it is hot forged in VP-310 alloy and equipped with a piston pin with DLC coating, chromed steel segments nitrided depending on the application and the load-bearing cross member derived from Formula 1, as well as an exclusive head shape that determines performance at the limit without penalizing the reliability of the engine.

The GP-Racer’s Choice version is the one chosen by various motocross champions, starting with multiple MXGP world champion Tim Gajser.
